God with us

All along, I have heard this phrase a hundred times. I have even told this to people a lot of times.

“Don’t worry, God is with you. He is right there”

But it took me quite a long time to actually experience it.

And it is true that sometimes God takes you away from people and the chaos to teach you something new.

It was a couple of months ago, when I was particularly down and feeling quite lonely when I was telling God, “Lord, I don’t want to go to work. I just feel so very lonely here“. That’s when I felt His closeness. My God who said ‘I am with you’ slid into the seat next to me and whispered ‘No you are not alone. I am here, with you.. Always!”

And that is the first time, in my Christian life of over twenty years, I actually felt “He is with me”. Now, I know Immanuel is here, with me and that has took away a lot of mixed  feelings.

I am no longer alone, ‘coz God is here with me, for real!
